Deliberate Attraction

We can start to Deliberately Attract what we want in life with just a little bit of effort on our parts.

By now you have heard about the Law of Attraction or of ‘The Secret’.

My question to you is, do you understand it? Do you know how to use the Law of Attraction to your benefit?

The Law of Attraction is “I attract to my life anything that I give my attention, energy and focus to, whether wanted or unwanted.”

There are three steps in the Law of Attraction:

  1. Place your order.
  2. Give attention, energy and focus on your order.
  3. Allow your order to come to you.

1. PLACE YOUR ORDER.

In the Law of Attraction, it is constantly checking to see what it is that you are focusing your attention on, what you are thinking about, what you are dreaming about, what you are obsessing about, both positively and negatively. Whatever it is that you are thinking about, every second, is being checked. Whatever you are focusing your attention is being checked. By doing those things, you are ‘Placing Your Order’ for what you want, whether or not you want to. If you are focusing on something negative, like being unhappy or in debt, you are placing your order for more of what you are focusing on, being unhappy or in debt. You will get more of whatever you are focusing on. If you are focusing on being successful or in a happy relationship, you are placing your order for more of what you are focusing on, being successful or a happy relationship.

Now, there is something that everyone uses that is counter-productive. It is the words “don’t”, “not”, and “no”. Even though we use them all the time, when the Law of Attraction is checking on what we are focusing on, it skips over those words. Let me use an example, if I tell you not to think of an apple, don’t think of a rocket ship, and don’t look up. You will still think of an apple, still think of a rocket ship and you will still look up. So when you are thinking, “I don’t like being broke”, as the universe is checking for your order, all it hears is, “I like being broke.” Attempt to try to eliminate those words from you vocabulary. When you do use them, immediately think or ask yourself, ‘ok, what do I want?’ and that is what the universe will take your order from.

2. GIVE MORE ATTENTION, ENERGY AND FOCUS ON ‘YOUR ORDER’.

Now that you have ‘Placed Your Order’, start giving more attention, energy and focus on it. Start picturing whatever it is that you want in your life. The more you focus on it, the sooner it will be manifested into your life.

3. ALLOW ‘YOUR ORDER’ TO COME TO YOU.

This is the hardest part for most people. Think about this, people standing in line to buy lotto tickets. They have ‘Placed Their Order’ that they would like to win the lotto, they are standing in line to buy their tickets. You can imagine that while they are there they are talking to their friends about what they will do with the money when they win. You can also imagine that if you could see what they are thinking, it would be things like, ‘I have been buying these tickets for four years and haven’t won anything. I am wasting my money’, ‘there is a one in twenty million chance to win, it won’t be me’, ‘I’ve never won anything in my life, I won’t win this either’.

By doubting that you will get your ‘Order’ it will never come to you. You need to allow it, to believe it, to have faith that it will come to you. The more you believe in it, the faster it will be manifested in to reality.

It’s all up to you!

Welcome to the wonderful world of home business!

With having a home-based business, it is exciting, because you have taken a proactive approach towards getting and having the Lifestyle that you desire.

Along with the excitement of having a home-based business is the fear. Yes, we have all had it at one time or another. It can be extremely confusing. There is so much out there on the Internet telling you what you should or should not do. Do you want to do a direct sale type of business or do you want to do a residual type of business? Do you want to proceed with your business proactively or passively? Do you want to sell the ‘lotions, potions and pills’ or do you want to do the PLR (Private Label Resale)? Do you want to promote training or wellness? Do you want to promote products or services?

Yes, it can be quite confusing, even for someone that has been in the field for many years. I am going to attempt to help you make some of your own decisions in the next several emails you will get from me. I am not going to tell you what business you should do, that will be for you to decide, yet I will help you with what to do once you have made some decisions.

Here are some questions you will need to answer to yourself.

  • How much money do I have NOW to invest in a business?
  • How much money do I have NOW to invest monthly in a business?
  • How much time do I have NOW to invest in a business on a weekly basis?

First thing, do some due diligence. Check out several different businesses before you make up your mind on anything. Don’t jump into the first business you checkout!

1. What is the product? Would you use/buy that product?

2. Would you feel comfortable promoting this product/service?

3. Is there value in the product/service? Can anyone see the value?

4. What is the start up costs? What are the monthly costs?

5. Speak to several people in that business. Ask them how they feel about the business, how long they have been working that business and how they are doing in that business. You may even ask to see proof that they are making that kind of money. You need to ask them how much time each week is needed to work that business successfully.

6. How long has this business been around? You want to be sure that if you join that business that it will still be around next month or year. There are no guarantees on anything.

7. Who is the owner? Do your due diligence on the owner. Do they have a good or shady reputation?

8. Is there any ‘trial time’ or ‘no questions asked money back time frame’ so you can get in, check it out yourself and if you don’t feel comfortable with that company, you can back out?

9. Before you do sign up with any company, do some due diligence on their top people. Who you sign up with is very important. If you sign up under someone who has just gotten into the business, then they can’t really help you much to get going yourself. If you sign up under someone who is their top Sponsor, that person will know what works best for them and can, in most cases, teach you what they did to be successful. FYI – Sometimes when you sign up under a top Sponsor, they don’t have the time to deal with every person they put in, they have so many people under them.

10. What kind of training does the company provide? How often is there training? Is it available 24/7 or just once a week? Is it over the phone or an online conference room?

11. Is this business restricted to certain countries or is it worldwide?

Now, I didn’t want to scare you about having a home-based business. Your choice can make the difference between wasting your time, money and effort and living the lifestyle you want for yourself and your family.

I will be giving you some tips, in the next 7 postings, to help you along to be the ‘Successful Person You Are Meant To Be.’

Let’s make your dream or goal a REALITY!

Okay, so we are going to continue from where we left off last.

  • You have visualized your dream.
  • You have written down your dream.
  • You have a picture of your dream.
  • You have felt what it will feel like when you have accomplished your dream.
  • You have written down the obstacles that you think you will have, along with several solutions for each obstacle.

You’ve taken a great step. Most people don’t even bother writing them down, let alone the rest. Now we are going to kick it up a few notches to make your dream, your goal, your resolution, become a reality.

We are going to start on a fresh piece of paper. At the top you will write what your dream is and when you want to accomplish it by.

Now, I want you to break it down some. Let’s say you want to lose 50 pounds this year. When you say it like that, most of the time it seems insurmountable, but it’s not. If you break it down to you want to lose 1 pound a week, that seems reasonable and very do-able, doesn’t it?

The next thing you need to write down is to write down what actions you will need to do to accomplish your dream. This is what will make the difference between success and failure. You MUST take action for any dream or goal to become reality.

If you want to quit smoking by the end of the year, we can do that a bit differently. Realistically, if you are a smoker, it may take several attempts to finally quit smoking. I would recommend that for the first month, you get mentally prepared to quit. You also need to be prepared on how you want to quit. Do you want to use the gum, patches, lozenge, shots, pills, hypnosis, group counseling, or personal/phone/online support? Look into all your options and plan ahead. I would recommend that you do some research on the Internet about all the ways to quit smoking and everything that is available to you.

Next you need to write down when you are going to start working on your dream. You will also write how often you will be checking your results. Do you want to check every week, every other week, or once a month?

Now I want you to write how you will feel once you have reached your dream. I want you to take a bit of time and think about it and feel it.

Next, you should write down all the ways that you and your family would benefit from reaching your goal.

On another sheet, you will keep track of your results.

At the top right hand side, you will need to put your starting point. It could be what your weight is at the time you start your dream, it could be how many cigarettes you are smoking at the time, it could be how much money you are making with your home based business, etc.

On the left hand side, put how often you will be checking your results, every week, 2 weeks, etc. along with the date that you will be checking at that point.

In the middle, you should write down what your results should be at that date. That way you have a short-term goal to reach that is measurable.

On the right hand side you record what the results actually are at that date.

You will want and need these milestones to follow along your way towards your goal. Your goal needs to be measurable. When you see the small short-term goals that you have reached along the way, it is incredibly empowering!

Here’s an example:

  1. I want to lose 50 pounds in one year.
  2. That equates to losing 1 pound a week. That is and sounds very do-able. That is something that you don’t have to sweat bullets to accomplish.
  3. To do that, I need to exercise daily and watch what I eat. I don’t have to exercise for 2 hours every day and only eat bunny food. (That’s lettuce and carrots for those who didn’t know.)
  4. I will check my results ever other week and my starting date is 1/7/08.
  5. Once I have reached my goal, I will feel good looking for my husband. I will have more energy to do everything I want to do.
  6. My family and I will benefit from reaching my goal by me being healthier, having more energy, and I can do more with my family.
  7. My starting point is: XXX pounds. In two weeks on 1/21/08 I should be XXX pounds. In four weeks on 2/4/08 I should be XXX pounds.

From there, write your obstacles and solutions and the affirmations to go along with your goal. Example – I love being slimmer. I have more energy. I can keep up with my daughter now.

When you take any goal, dream or resolution and think it through like this and you break it down to ‘bite-sized’ measurable chunks, you can see that you really can do anything you want.

‘Anything the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.’ Napoleon Hill

With that in mind, you have conceived a dream, with working through the steps above; you can then believe that you can achieve your dream. With action towards your dream, you CAN achieve it. I KNOW that you can achieve any dream you have, just have to put some effort and will power into it.

I want to hear how you are doing with your dreams/goals/resolutions. Leave your comment with how you feel about what is written here and with what your goal is and how you’re coming along with it. I want to know how you’re doing.

This is a little taste of the trainings I do. To find out more about me, check out http://www.rosebassett.net/. Each week I will post more information on my blog that can be helpful for you, whether you have a home business or not.

How to have Success with your New Year’s Resolution.

Every year we all make the valiant effort of making New Year’s Resolutions, only for them to fizzle out before the end of January. Most of the time you use the same Resolutions, year after year; loose weight, exercise more, eat healthy, quit smoking, etc. These are all good goals, but we go into the year without any planning to succeed. ‘If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail.’ Let’s do some planning.

So, what do you want for the rest of your life! Everyone asks what do you want for Christmas or what are your New Year’s Resolutions, but the real question you should be asking yourself is, what do you want for your life? Do you want a better home, a new car, a loving relationship, college funds for grandchildren, a dream vacation, fire your boss? Resolution = Goal = Dream.

So, what do you want? Have you written it down? So, stop right now and grab some paper and write down what you would really like. Be very specific. If it is a car, what make, model, color, engine size, interior color, stereo system, tire size, etc. You need to be able to visualize it. You have my permission to dream. There are no limitations. I will be right here while you do that.

Ok, now that you have written it down. I want you to think of how it will feel when you have accomplished that goal. I want to take the time to FEEL it. Now, write down how it feels. How will you benefit once you have accomplished that goal? Write it down.

If you can, get a picture of what it is you want. With the Internet, you can just about get any picture you want. Print out that picture. Print out several of that picture, even in different sizes. If it is a picture of you yet thinner, print out a lot of them. Put those pictures around where you will see them. On your bathroom mirror, on your computer monitor, on your refrigerator, on the ceiling above your bed so it is the first thing you see every morning and last thing every night. The more you think about what you want, the faster it will become part of your reality.

Now here is something that most people won’t tell you to do. You know that there will be obstacles to your goals. So what! Write down any obstacles that you think that you may come across. That’s great! Now, write down 3 – 5 different solutions to each of those obstacles. Think hard and think outside the box. I do realize that the main obstacle to most things is money, mainly lack of money. Well, have you thought of some solutions? You could have a yard sale; you can go over your monthly bills and see where you can shave off some costs. You could give up buying that cup of coffee every morning on the way to work and just make some at home. You could brown bag your lunch instead of buying. You can start a home-based business.

Let me ask you this, do you remember your goal? How badly do you want it? What are you willing to do to get it? Are you willing to get up 30 minutes early so you can exercise? Are you willing to listen to some of those audios that you used to scoff at to help you quit smoking? Are you willing to do some small sacrifices to achieve what you really want?

Great, now that you have your goal written down, you have mentally ‘felt’ what it was like to achieve your goal, you have a picture of your goal, you have worked through the obstacles with solutions, you now need to take action. Do things that will help you toward your goal. You can’t just think about loosing weight and expect it to just fall off. You have to get up off the couch and do some exercises and watch what you’re eating to achieve your goal. It really isn’t half as hard as you think it is, just do it.

If you’ve already have started a home-based business, are you willing to give up watching Monday Night Football and focus on your business? Are you willing to spend 30 minutes a day working your business? Are you willing to take 1 hour a day on the weekends to learn how to do things effectively in your business? What are you willing to do, legally, ethically and morally, to accomplish your dream?

‘If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.’ What is your plan?

Write it down + Feel it + Pictures + Obstacles/Solution + Action = Success!
